Here's an example of the UNHRC's "findings": Not surprisingly, Syria with a civil war raging and now 60,000 dead, sailed smoothly through its 2011-2012 “periodic review” by the council, with worthies like North Korea “commending” it for its “efforts…to maintain security and stability”. And Iran praising its “efforts…to promote and protect human rights.” Except for political simpletons, the UN long ago became a tool for every odious regime to look legit! The confirmation hearing for Chuck Hagel as defense secretary on Thursday will provide senators with a critical opportunity to probe the nominee thus hopefully confirming what a light weight he is. "Iran, Mr Hagel"? For the past decade, too many in the West - with Obama leading the charge of the clueless - hoped that negotiations, accompanied by incentives and disincentives, would lead Iran to renounce nuclear weapons. The West thus made a senseless concession by allowing enrichment even to 4%. Enrichment to any higher level will require mere baby steps to reach the Tehran regime's nuclear-arms destination. This problem cannot be solved by international inspections. Tehran would simply be too close to a "break-out" point that it could quickly achieve after expelling inspectors. With the trinity of Obama, Kerry, Hagel as so called leaders of the West, the Islamist regime running Iran and other adherents of the Death Cult Crew across the world, must be pissing their baggies with anticipation!

Israel’s Shin Bet (domestic security agency) has released its figures for 2012. It says it thwarted 100 “serious” terror attacks over the year, a third of them planned kidnappings, four of them attempted suicide bombings. Meanwhile, the U.S. Congress has been withholding $450 million in aid, while not surprisingly, the Obama administration wants it to free up the money, but Congress keeps refusing. Why? Israel and Congress’s insistence on exacting a price on Abbas. It lets the PA know that it is no longer outside the normal human cost-benefit calculus, with Israel indefinitely propping it up and the U.S. continuing to funnel it political and financial support no matter how it conducts itself.

On Friday, an Iranian diplomat who defected in Norway in 2010 warned that if the Iranians got the bomb they would use it against Israel.

If Israel - who is in a constant state of war readiness - can control who owns weapons, shouldn't the U.S. get some perspective on what the founding fathers would have considered reasonable firearm possession?

According to new research published in "Nature" what actually happened was this. About 20,000 years ago, the Earth — the whole planet — wobbled on its axis. This happens periodically, but this time, the wobble caused a lot more summer sunlight to hit the northern hemisphere. Gigantic ice sheets in the Arctic and Greenland began melting and are still doing so. All this and not a factory or motor car in sight! So you see folks: it's all a tad more complex this global warming followed by another Ice Age - sometimes lasting up to 100,000 years - than the bollocks spouted by the bewildered or politically motivated.

Husseini is the role model for Fatah/Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran's stooges in Lebanon, Hezbollah...so there should be no more mystery as to why there's no peace in the middle east!

Google’s Vice President of Security Eric Grosse and Engineer Mayank Upadhyay wrote an article that’s due to appear in an upcoming issue of IEEE Security & Privacy Magazine about Google’s efforts to revitalize our password systems. They said the ideal system of protection would involve authenticating a single device, such as a YubiKey or a smartphone, that would be configured to grant you access to any of your online services. "It’s definitely a step in a safer direction."
So said the man from GEEKS R US. Obviously the chap has never heard the old saying "having all your eggs in one basket." Hands up anyone who's ever lost a key? Yes, quite a few. Believing that by just using sanctions Iran's nuke program will be abandoned, is similar to believing that by being a fully paid up member of the Flat Earth Society, somehow makes it so.  I guess Obama & Co have renewed their subscription for 2013.

I suppose they mean places like Egypt? The Muslim world's new center for the advancement of human rights. Since when is using rape routinely against any dissenting women, qualify a country for "democratic gains"? Or a presidential decree giving Mursi sweeping powers to investigate leading opposition figures - those who oppose Shari Law and a return to 7th century status - with charges of treason? Having been admonished by the White House earlier this week for the outrageous remarks he had made about Jews and Israel, Egypt’s president Mohammed Mursi yesterday stopped short of a retraction or apology and instead explained that his comments should be "viewed in context".
The context being: Mursi and his Muslim Brotherhood gang of thugs are a collection of Islamo-fascist, Nazi loving fuckers!
