Samoa Air is pricing its first international flights based on the WEIGHTof its passengers and their bags. Depending on the flight, each kilogram (2.2 pounds) costs 93 cents to $1.06. The airline's chief executive, Chris Langton, said on Tuesday that "planes are run by weight and not by seat, and travelers should be educated on this important issue. The plane can only carry a certain amount of weight and that weight needs to be paid. There is no other way." 
As I'm a 149 pounder, do I get a discount? Other airlines are thinking about doing the same...so now you really have an added incentive to get some of your lard off!

SAUDI WOMEN NOW ALLOWED TO RIDE A BIKE!

Saudi Arabian women are now allowed to ride bicycles in public so long as they are still accompanied by a male guardian and wear “fully modest dress,” the al-Yaum newspaper reported on its website. The male guardian is also necessary while riding the bicycle in the event the women have an accident (owing to the fact that they can't see where they're bloody going?) The newspaper was citing an unidentified official from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice aka the country’s religious police. Several Egyptian newspapers like Masr Al-Jadeeda, Al-Istiklal and Medan have published the story of a secret meeting in Pakistan between Ayman Zawahiri, the main man of al-Qaeda, and Muhammad Morsi of Egypt. According to the reports, the meeting lasted 45 minutes, during which Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi promised to make preparations for Ayman Zawahiri to return soon to Egypt, indicating that some Muslim Brotherhood members would handle the operation, by first smuggling the al-Qaeda leader to a Gulf nation, likely Qatar, and then easily transferring him to Egypt.
