Israel may be known as the Start-up Nation, especially in cutting edge technology, but they are not only located in Israel. There are over 200 Israeli start-ups operating in New York alone, while many others are located in Boston.

QUAKING EARTH IN HOLY PLACES!

Israel is situated in one of the world's earthquake-prone areas and after a series of five moderate earthquakes shook the country last October, officials are taking action to try and protect the Holy Land's most important ancient treasures so they hopefully won't come tumbling down. About once a century throughout history a large earthquake has rattled the region often damaging key historical sites, the last major quake occurring in 1927.

TRIVIA NIGHT!

Syrian officials could face war crimes charges at the International Court at the Hague, after a military police photographer defected and provided evidence showing the systematic killing of 11,000 detainees. Meanwhile, the UN stopped counting the bodies at 100,000 and content themselves with gravitas speeches, chin stoking and trivia. What a waste of space they are!

DEATH OF A PIONEER...

Azaria Alon, aged 95 and the Israel Prize winner and co-founder of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel passed away at his home early on Sunday. A man ahead of his time. RIP.

Since some traffic got jammed up in Jersey because some over zealous Christie soldiers took their cue from the politics of Illinois, the liberal brigade have been sucking that teet dry. But when four were murdered in Benghazi and witch bitch Clinton shrugged and lied her ass off, the liberals were AWOL at the honesty desk.

The Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. announced that in February it will unveil a new powerful laser defense system called Iron Beam, at an upcoming conference in Singapore. When mounted on a fighter jet and fired it will cause the enemy's ass to catch fire first.

Developed in Israel, a revolutionary new algorithm could succeed in prolonging life. Keren Yizhak, a doctoral student at Tel Aviv University’s Blavatnik School of Computer Science, has developed a computer algorithm that predicts which genes can be “turned off” to create the same anti-aging effect as calorie restriction.
