After the Taliban had cleaned Obama’s clock, his empty posturing is not likely to impress the ruling elite of a totalitarian state with nuclear capabilities and a willingness to murder uncounted numbers of its own people in horrifying ways. Obama blinked. The United States put the playbook on hold, cancelled a missile test and began clumsily urging everyone to tone down the rhetoric to avoid a war. The game of chicken had ended with Obama, Kerry and Hagel squawking in a corner. Obama’s smaller-and-smarter strategy took armed force off the table against any state with a strong enough military and made his bluffs preemptively worthless.

New York Democratic Rep. Jose Serrano - better known as Mr Thick-O - reintroduced a bill in Congress on Friday to repeal the 22nd Amendment, which places term limits on the U.S. presidency. The bill, which has been referred to committee, would allow Obama to become the first president since Franklin Roosevelt to seek a third term in office. If successful, the USA would soon become a banana republic...without the bananas!

THE HAGUE – Royal Dutch Shell declined to comment on reports that it will divest its stake in an Australian energy firm Woodside because of that firm’s investment in Israel’s gas fields. Last year, Shell said that involvement with them was “incompatible” with Shell’s “long-term plans." Iran has sufficient hard currency reserves to continue essential imports (food and other consumer goods) for another two years. Corruption is a way of life by the ruling Islamo-fascist clerics and their families, who control or own a whopping 50% of the $480 billion a year GDP! Most Iranians are angry at the corruption and living under the mentality of the 7th century rule of clerics. Around 20% of the population benefits from working for and propping up the regime; and a lot of these supporters - a variety of thugs with self interest as their mantra - have weapons and are more than willing to kill to keep things hunky dory for themselves. The majority of Iranian people hate Genocide Joe, the Mullahs and the hell-hole which they have created in Iran...but what can they actually do?
