TAKSIM SQUARE: NOT JUST ANY OLD SQUARE!

Once upon a time there was this fellah call Atatürk. He wanted to make a secular society in Turkey and keep the mad mullahs from running a 7th century one. So he set in motion reforms to make the constitution modern and European. That square in Turkey represents the modern, secular mind set. So what better than flatten it for a shopping mall! So you see, it's not just any old square, CNN et al. It's a symbol for the secular and the Islamo-fascists who now control Turkey want it gone! (Photo: Copyright Control)
