R&B superstar Alicia Keys will be performing in Israel despite calls from the racist BDS movement to boycott the country. Keys told the NY Times, "I look forward to my first visit to Israel. Music is a universal language that is meant to unify audiences in peace and love, and that is the spirit of our show." Both Alice Walker and Roger Waters sent open letters to Keys, which were filled with demagogic rhetoric and defamatory statements about Israel. Walker has recently faced questions as to her mental health.
