Israeli *moshav, Ein Yahav, is using the sun as a natural substitute for pesticides. A veritable sea of plastic can now be seen in the hot Arava region of Israel, as the moshav fields are covered with more than 6 million meters (20 million feet) of plastic, in order to use the power of the sun to raise the surface temperatures below the plastic to as much as 55 degrees Celsius (131 Fahrenheit).The cliché, “the sun is the best natural antiseptic" is finding a reality in Israel. (*a farm)

A: They don't want voter ID because millions who already vote for them illegally would be out of the game; and this would mean that the next time the Democrats could have any chance of winning a straight election would be around 2315. SNIFFING OUT SEMTEX!

Israeli scientists have developed an electronic chip with microscopic chemical sensors. The chip can detect explosives in air whose concentrations are as low as a few molecules for every thousand trillion! The journal Nature Communications, on June 24, revealed that this nano-technology based-sensor is being developed by Tracense, a Tel Aviv company.The detector can trace several types of explosives, even when several meters away from the source.
